Here are the pictures taken by Jan Carlisle after our floors and paint were done, in December. I wanted to show off my early baby bump in some of them, too!
I’m glad we have pictures of the floors before they got scratched up by dog nails! They were absolutely beautifully done by Birdseye Hardwoods (recommended by our agent, Laurie Sonnenfeld). There were areas where the wood was damaged or not there at all and they expertly moved boards around and added some to even everything out. I think it’s all a water-based sealant.
The painting was done by John Lobo Painting; I believe A.’s mom found him on Angie’s List. It’s Benjamin Moore paint, and a color consultant, Nancy Alwin, helped us pick the colors.
What a difference! And all of our contractors were really nice to work with.
The trim is Snowfall White and the ceilings are Acadia White.

what a difference refinishing the floors and new coats of paint make! Your ‘bungalow’ is warm and inviting. We refinished our own floors with the Varathane renewal floor refinishing kit-I wish we could have hired someone to do it but there isn’t anyone in our area.
I love your new home ❤
🙂
Would you mind telling what your trim color is in the Georgian Green room? I am using that in my LR/DR and don’t know what color to choose! Yours looks great. Thanks.
Thanks, Marcia! I believe the trim throughout is Benjamin Moore Off White color # OC118 Snowfall White. I think it’s the “Advance” formula with a satin sheen.
