I’ve worked six 13+-hour days in the past 9 days since my last update, so I haven’t seen much of Ari! He had his first trip to the mall and his first trip to OMSI (the science museum) with his nanny when it was raining and she wanted to get out of the house. Apparently he got a lot of attention and had a blast at OMSI! Wish I had been there but I’ll take him sometime.
We’ve got the baby gate in the kitchen doorway now because Ari has discovered Andrew’s food, and Andrew doesn’t eat his food quickly anymore. Here are some pictures of Ari getting into the recycling bins and practicing his standing:
We worked on cleaning up our room and organizing our clothing during the weekend and Ari got involved in that too:
We also took the boys to the dog park on a sunny day and Ari wore this cute hat:
My weekday off was a very busy one! I had an appointment in the morning that I brought Ari to, then Ari had an appointment at my work and I had a work meeting there, too, then we went to Ari’s and my first Passover Seder dinner! We’re getting in touch with A.’s and Ari’s Jewish backgrounds. A. drove his car to work so he could drive to Ari’s appointment, so Ari and I took the bus to the appointment so we could all take one car to the Seder. It was Ari’s first bus trip, I think! He was so amazingly mellow about the whole affair, I think he may enjoy adventures as much as I do!
I had to pack along the car seat and a giant bag of too many toys and clothing changes and burp cloths I brought for him, so my hands were beyond full – sort of like when I moved to and from San Francisco and New York by bus, subway, and airplane, refusing to pay to ship things or take taxis and carrying like five giant bags and a box all over the city. Well, this was a lot easier than those moves were, actually.
Here we are packed into our seats on the bus:
Then it was a half-mile walk to the tram – here we are waiting for the elevator to the tram:
And on the elevator – you can see their cool bike valet parking:
Earlier in the day, I bought this adorable shirt at the consignment store so Ari would look nice for the dinner, and look how cute he was!
Also, he ate some of pretty much everything, including the gefilte fish! Here, he’s eating asparagus.
Did you know he reads Hebrew, now, too? 🙂
Happy 10 months, Ari!
I’m loving these cute photos!
Thanks!

He’s got a part in his hair! Way too cute. 🙂
